MANILA - Philippines Founder and chair of Internet giant Alibaba, Jack Ma, is set to pay a courtesy call before President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday afternoon.
The founder and executive chairman of e-commerce giant Alibaba earlier called the country's internet service "not good" before a De La Salle University audience that included telco executives.
"Perfect... It was good," Ma said when asked how his conference with Duterte went.
He last visited the country in November 2015 to speak before the business leaders at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit. Ma was among the speakers along with former US President Barack Obama.
According to international magazine Forbes, Ma is back on top as Asia's richest businessman as he continued to grow the world's largest e-commerce businesses, Alibaba Group. His real-time net worth is at $38.3 billion
